This cake will please anyone who tries it. The taste is just amazingly delicious! You will of course be using Belgian chocolate and gourmet coffee. It is made with layers of (orange) almond sponge cake soaked in coffee syrup (or Grand Marnier syrup), layered with ganache and coffee (or Grand Marnier) buttercream, and covered in a chocolate glaze. In this class, we will show you 2 versions of it: the classic Coffee Opera cake and a Grand Marnier version that is perfect for those who do not like coffee. This classic French Gourmet Cake is one of Blandine’s favorite.
